## First Steps
**Step 1:** Download windows update 22H2 (optional). The update does not seem to have an impact on gaming and is safe to download.
**Step 2:** download AMD adrenaline from AMDs website. Link is provided in 🔧┃𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀-𝗢𝗦
**Step 3:** confirm your product is the correct model you ordered.
- **correct battery capacity** Run command prompt > type: `powercfg /batteryreport`, then press Enter.
- **hall sensor and controller functionality** Visit [https://gamepad-tester.com/](https://gamepad-tester.com/ "https://gamepad-tester.com/") and test controller inputs. Test joystick, Hall effect joysticks should achieve around 0.2% error.
**Step 4:** totally optional, but you can update the AOKZOE play Center to latest version. Note that current build of 0.4.0 is a preview and has been known to break on update. Fixes for these breaks are noted here: [https://discord.com/channels/978620291926351942/1027632481307988008/1040561177618558977](https://discord.com/channels/978620291926351942/1027632481307988008/1040561177618558977 "https://discord.com/channels/978620291926351942/1027632481307988008/1040561177618558977")

## 2022-08 Aokzoe A1?
**Button Größe / Dimensionen anhand von Bilder verglichen**
B Button = 8,87mm
Analog Stick ist 1,8x größer = 16 mm
B Button = 7,50mm
Faktor 2,0 / 2,1 max 2,3 = 15 / 15,75 max = 17,25
Steam
8,73mm
Faktor 1,9 / 2,0 = 16,587 / 17,46
**Situation**
- I have the AYN Odin Pro
- Joysticks are perfect for this device and its power (PS2 emulation)
- The Joysticks are too small for me for serious PC gaming.
- Also the ergonomics with the vertical button layout (e.g. D-Pad vertically directly below the thumb stick) feels not perfect for me. I like the Xbox Controller.
- I dream of a handheld device with power on the go (mostly at home or in the car) , good battery life and the possibility with eGPU to replace my Desktop PC (i7 8700K, 32 GB RAM, 3080 Ti)
- **eGPU support** is not confirmed on any devices
**Comparision to Steam Deck for $679**
- + 8" Display vs 6"
- + 65 Wh battery vs. 46 Wh
- + AMD 6800U vs. Custom APU
- + eGPU ready via USB 4.0 / TB3 and maybe the potential to replace my Desktop PC (with extra costs)
- + shipping starts 2022-09 vs. ???
- + Windows 11 vs Linux SteamOS
- +/- little smaller device
- +/- little heavier device
- - no Software vs. optimized SteamOS
- - smaller Joysticks (ca. 80%) vs. for me really ergonomic button layout. Similar feeling / moving for the thumbs as on Xbox Controller in my opinion)
- - more expensive compared to $679
- 512 Gb $979 (with all Addons) +$300
- 1 TB $1079 (with all Addons) +$400
**Comparison to AYN Loki Max for $703:**
- + 8" Display vs 6"
- + 65 Wh battery vs. 46 Wh
- + larger joysticks, but i think not "full-size" (ca. 80%) . AYN uses the same small ones from Odin.
- + Hall Sensor Joysticks
- + for me better button layout (not vertically, but slightly like an Xbox controller)
- + shipping starts 2022-09 vs. ???
- +/- eGPU ready via USB 4.0 / TB3
- +/- larger device
- +/- heavier device
- +/- both have no extra software
- - "new" company with help from OXP team. AYN has a huge success with Odin.
- - more expensive compared to $703 ($775 with Shipping +$53 and Odin backer Coupon -$125)
- 512 Gb $979 (with all Addons) +$276
- 1 TB $1079 (with all Addons) +$376
**Comparison to Aya Neo 2 for ???:**
- + 8" Display vs 7"
- + 65 Wh battery vs. i think less
- + for me better button layout (not vertically, but slightly like an Xbox controller)
- + price of Aokzoe will be equal or cheaper
- + shipping starts 2022-09 vs. ???
- +/- eGPU ready via USB 4.0 / TB3
- +/- larger device
- +/- heavier device
- +/- Hall Sensor Joysticks
- - no extra Software (AyaSpace looks nice and intuitive)
- - smaller Joysticks (ca. 80%) (Aya seems to have full size joysticks)
- - "new" company with help from OXP team. Aya seems to be an established player in the market with lots of experience.
- I don´t need Fingerprint
**Final thoughs**
- Aokzoe seems to be the perfect fit and with the only compromise in little smaller Joysticks and no custom software.
